ECU Remapping

AutoFlash can alter the software in your vehicles factory engine control unit to obtain more torque and bhp, increase fuel efficiency and provide solutions for Adblue, DPF and EGR related problems. This process is performed using industry leading tuning tools and equipment. Our tunes or maps as they are commonly called are sourced and purchased through a network of highly acclaimmed tuners based in the UK. These tuners have been working in this industry for decades and their software tunes are developed on their in house rolling road dyno. We take our customers vehicles safety and reliability very seriously, that is why we our tunes optimise the best possible power increase while still retaining drivability and long term reliability.

Module Programming

At AutoFlash we have access to main dealer level diagnostic equipment. This allows us to program both brand new and also used control modules (where applicable) to a whole range of cars and light commercial vehicles. We cover most manufacturers in this regard and can program most modules too, for example; engine control modules, body control modules, abs modules, airbag modules and instrument clusters.

SRS Airbag Crash Data Reset

Many modern vehicles will not start if the airbag control module detects that the vehicle has been involved in an impact. This could be caused by a crash or even a light impact detected by the vehicle. In this scenario, the airbag control module needs to be reset or sometimes replaced. We can reset the existing airbag control module or program in a replacement for most cars and light commercial vehicles.

Dash Clock Instrument Cluster Repairs

A common failure on Ford vehicles is the dash clock or instrument cluster. This is especially true for the MK2 Ford Focus, Ford Kuga and Ford C-Max. We have been reparing these for close to 10 years now and continue to repair them on a regular basis.

Land Rover and Jaguar Gear Selector Module Repairs

The JLR group suffer from automatic transmission failure leaving owners stranded and unable to move their vehicle. Common symptoms are that the gear selector turn dial won’t raise when the vehicle is started or that it will rise but won’t turn to select a gear. Luckily we can repair these modules and have the ability to bench test them for a guaranteed fix. These gear selector modules are found on most modern Land Rovers, Range Rovers and Jaguars with an automatic gearbox.

BMW FRM Module Repairs

The FRM or footwell module found on E series and F series BMW are known to fail. It usually but not always happens due to low voltage issues or if the battery was disconnected for a long period of time. We can reflash the FRM module to restore its factory configuration state and essentially repair it.

Electronic Steering Lock Solutions

Electronic steering locks or ESL for short are known to fail on many modern day vehicles, particularily but not limited to the Mercedes group. Over the past 10years we have replaced countless steering locks on Mercedes Sprinters, C Class and E Class variants. We also cover many other manufacturers too such as Ford, BMW, Renault, Nissan and more.

Immobiliser Solutions

With close to 10 years experience in cars and light commercial vehicles immobiliser issues you can count on us. We can program a host of new or used immbiliser related modules to a range of vehicles, for example; dash clocks, electronic ignition switchs, immobiliser boxes, engine ecus, body control modules and more.

Speed Limiter Solutions

Autoflash can alter the factory software in certain vehicles ECU and/or BCM to configure speed limiter settings. This allows us to install, remove or adjust the speed limit for your van, camper or other light commercial vehicle. This is a service that proves attractive to businesses who may have a large fleet of vans and wish to prevent their drivers from speeding. It also is popluar among owners of UK imported vans where factory speed limiters are often used.
